Privacy Policy for Association Collaborative Effort ("ACE")

Introduction
ASSOCIATION COLLABORATIVE EFFORT ("ACE") respects each individual's right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at www.aceinfo.org.

Part I. Information Collection
ACE collects information through our Web site at the point of login. We collect the following personally identifiable information about participatory visitors:

Electronic e-mail address

We do employ cookies. Cookies enable ACE to track usage patterns and deliver customized content to users. A cookie is a small text file that a Web server places on a user's computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Our cookies do collect personally identifiable information for those who voluntary provide their personally identifiable information in order to login and do not logout of the Web site prior to leaving the page.

Part II. Information Usage.
The information collected by ACE will be used to: cut down on spam, track discussions, to monitor changes made to any wiki documents, collect feedback, communicate ACE news and events, and follow-up regarding ACE participation. Users who provide information will receive email regarding ACE only. Out of respect for the privacy of our users, if you do not want the option of receiving these types of communications please contact ACE at contactace@aceinfo.org and include the words "Do Not Contact" in your subject line.

The information we collect will not be used to create customer profiles based on browsing history. Information will also not be used for any targeted advertising purposes and will not be used to promote and market advertisers internally. We will not supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources.

Information provided on the ACE website including but not limited to: full name, comments, suggestions, feedback to definitions and/or website will be published publicly and available for general viewing and may be shared to other third parties.

Any user provided e-mail address data shared to ACE during registration or updates to user accounts will not be sold nor will it be provided it to any third parties outside of ACE.

ACE members currently include the American Marketing Association (AMA), the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF), the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO), The Society of ESOMAR (ESOMAR), the Marketing Research Association (MRA) and the Marketing Research & Intelligence Association (MRIA). ACE members may receive any and all information provided on ACE Web site. ACE members will neither share email address information to parties outside of ACE, nor will they use email address information for non-ACE related communications.

Any material changes to the information provided on this website will be provided in the form of a conspicuous notification on our homepage. ACE reserves the right to edit comments, suggestions, feedback to definitions and/or website that will/may be published publically. Users may contact the ACE at contactace@aceinfo.org.

Part III. Children Under 13
ACE does not knowingly collect any data or any user information from children under 13 years of age.

Part IV. Data Storage and Security
ACE protects user information with the following security measures: secure servers, firewalls and other technology and procedures used to protect consumer privacy.
